METANOIA WELLNESS

Metanoia is an ancient word meaning a profound transformation of mind, heart, and being—a return to the truth of who you are. Healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about understanding the experiences, patterns, and protective strategies that shaped you, so you can reconnect with the person you were created to be.

About

RESTORE. REALIGN. RENEW.

Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply self-aware. On the outside, they appear successful, dependable, and composed. Internally, they feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, caught in recurring patterns, or overwhelmed by the constant pressure of carrying everything for everyone else. Therapy isn't about trying harder or simply managing symptoms. It's about understanding why your mind, body, and nervous system learned to respond the way they did—and creating the conditions for lasting change. Together, we'll explore the patterns beneath the surface, making sense of how past experiences, relationships, attachment, and chronic stress have shaped the way you think, feel, and move through the world. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we'll work toward deeper self-understanding, emotional flexibility, nervous system restoration, and a more authentic relationship with yourself and your life. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, somatic interventions, and trauma- and nervous system-informed care. Drawing from my background in psychology and exercise physiology—as a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach—I view emotional, physical, relational, and psychological wellbeing as interconnected parts of the same system because healing happens when we care for the whole person—not just individual symptoms. Whether you're navigating anxiety, OCD, burnout, perfectionism, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy offers a space where you no longer have to carry everything alone. I believe healing isn't about fixing what is broken. It's about understanding the protective patterns that helped you survive, honoring the purpose they once served, restoring connection between mind, body, and being, and gently creating space for new ways of relating to yourself and your life. It's about returning to yourself. I am currently accepting new clients in-person and virtually for August 2026. Office located off Pelham Road in Greenville, SC.
